Forgiveness and Reconciliation

Forgiveness means to “give” this means to offer compassion love, affection, good wishes and have pure feelings towards the self and others. It is also about letting go of the past and focusing on the now. It’s also vital not to play the blame game but to accept what is and see it as part of a scene in a play and easily move forward. When you gain this power to forgive truly,  you gain real freedom.

Exercise

To forgive means pardoning the unpardonable. Faith means believing the unbelievable. Hope means hoping when everything seems hopeless. – G.K. Chesterton

Forgiveness breaks down the walls that we have built around our love. It is one of the biggest steps we can take towards emotional freedom. Grudges and resentments only hurt one person, ourself. We are the ones who feel the fire of negative emotions and forgiveness breaks that cycle, soothing the heart and allowing it to love again.

Write a letter declaring all the things you forgive yourself and others for. Small or large, write what comes – you will feel much lighter for it.

    Only when I learnt to forgive myself & others. Then I can re-kindle with all to re-build relationship & move FORWARD. The light feeling allows me to make progress.

    When you can do it upon a situation, it generates a good feeling.

    My ego/false self does not want to forgive, ever !
    My true self has no problem forgiving, as I’m aware that, in reality, there’s nothing to forgive.
    I suppose the trick is to try and live from the heart as much as possible.
    Meditation helps me to refocus on this truth.
