How to be happy no matter whatInspired Stillness
I used to believe I would be happy once I found a job, or when others changed…Having the guidance of the One has helped me to accept situations and people. I am developing maturity and becoming fearless thanks to the One. People may still try to take my happiness away and I am learning not to be ruled by others. I am learning to live in the present and be content with it. The good news is that happiness comes free of charge and is only one thought away.
Sorrow is due to dependency. Happiness is not dependent on “anything” or “anyone”. “We keep delaying our happiness until things are just right in our life. Happiness is only possible when we are able to accept everyone as they are, at every moment, in every situation. That means an end to judging or resisting others, an end to complaining and blaming, an end to criticising and controlling and an end to competing with anyone.”
Generally it is human conflict that makes us feel sad. At the core of happiness is the acceptance and understanding of the self.
Whatever actions we are performing, we do it for happiness… but what I have learned at the Brahma Kumaris is that happiness is generated from within… we should do things out of happiness, not for happiness. It is our beliefs and ultimately our thoughts which create happiness.
Happiness is a choice and we respond to the same stimulus in a different way. There will always be obstacles but the way we deal with them is our choice.
Our happiness index is also related to our power to face situations. The mind becomes weaker the more I worry. Happiness is an internal strength.
Success does bring happiness but you don’t need to be successful to be happy. Even if I can’t do well, at least I can take care of myself within.
When any situation comes along, the first thing you should do is remain composed so that you don’t have a negative reaction. The next thing could be to assist the other person with their state of mind so that the other person gets a positive response from you and they eventually start behaving in a positive manner towards you.
It takes effort not to be stressed and be happy in situations.
The meaning of unlimited means no dependency, unconditional and independent. Wherever there is dependency there is the fear of failure.
We have to take the responsibility for our own mind, not blame others for our fortune. You are the creator of your personality.
It is good to keep the aim to make others happy but with caution. It is important to note that if you want to make others happy, you have to be happy first within. You should only do things for others if you want to do it. If you don’t want to do something for others but you do it anyway then that will not make them happy because the vibrations you will be emitting will not be of happiness.

What really brings me great joy and spiritual intoxication is knowing that I’ve found God and the Truth. I also get happiness from giving to others. I believe there are always obstacles in life but the solution is to keep transforming yourself. You can always transform yourself. Everything in the Life comes for you, to teach you something.
