About this product
In order to live in harmony as a human family, we need to appreciate the value and significance of every nation, religion and culture within that family. At the same time, we also need to recognise the common foundation underlying these external differences. In this CD, Sister Jayanti shares thoughts on ‘The Human Family’ and ‘The role of God’ within this. The first part describes how the human population, after an initial period of strength and unity, undergoes a process of expansion, division, diversification and eventually decay, leaving only a seed from which the new sapling then emerges. The second part, explores the role of God in world creation, sustenance and transformation and our own essential contribution to this task. Each part consists of a series of short, inter-related talks, concluding with a meditation exercise.
